Since 2003, the team behind FASO has been active in acquiring third-party private equity portfolios. These are large and complex transactions that require expertise and financial clout.
The fund can purchase multiple types of private equity portfolios, including: buyouts, expansion capital and growth technology transactions.
FASO partners with the managers of the purchased private equity portfolios and assists them with new investments, reallocation of capital and fund restructuring, among other things.
The fund will purchase up to fifteen private equity portfolios over the life of the fund, with transaction sizes between €30 million and €80 million. Underlying the fund will consist of between 50 – 150 companies.
The prospectuses of the closed end investment funds managed by IBS Fund Management B.V. and those of the underlying master investment funds are available to unitholders upon request (in the secure section of the site and at info@ibsfm.nl).
However, these prospectuses contain only limited information on sustainability, as the funds in question were closed before the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (“SFDR”) came into force and the SFDR could not yet be taken into account.
Prospectuses of closed end investment funds managed by IBS Fund Management B.V. with a closing date after March 10, 2021 do contain the information required by the SFDR.
