In 2022, EQT acquired private equity fund house Life Science Partners (LSP) and renamed it EQT Life Sciences.
LSP HEF II invests in companies specializing in medical devices, diagnostics and e-health that already have a product on the market or are close to market launch.
In doing so, the fund specifically targets companies that are developing innovations for a large population or that have the capacity to significantly reduce the cost of care.
