IBS Value-add Infrastructure Fund
The IBS Value-add Infrastructure Fund invests in three funds, all three of which invest in small and medium-sized infrastructure projects.
The IBS Value-add Infrastructure Fund invests in three funds, all three of which invest in small and medium-sized infrastructure projects.
The IBS Value-add Infrastructure Fund invests in EQT Infrastructure VI, Antin Infrastructure Fund V and Goldman Sachs West Street Infrastructure Partners Fund IV.
The fund pursues a ‘value-add’ strategy. In this strategy, the fund manager invests in small- and medium-sized infrastructure projects. Subsequently, the fund manager goes on to create and/or add value through acquisitions or growth investments.
Value-add managers also benefit from the high demand for turnkey infrastructure and the opportunities to sell their projects.
Sustainability, urbanisation, digitalisation and maintenance of existing infrastructure create a significant need for new infrastructure investments. Infrastructure investments in renewable energy and electricity networks, among others, therefore also contribute positively to the energy transition. Within the fund, investments will be made within four themes: Telecom, Social, Energy & Environment and Transport.
The EQT Infrastructure VI fund focuses on companies that have predictable cash flows and are essential to society within Europe (50%), North America (40%) and Asia (10%)
The Antin Infrastructure Fund V fund targets companies that pass the ‘Antin infrastructure test’. These are companies with stable cash flows and high barriers to entry, which are essential to society and have inflation-linked cash flows within Europe (70%) and North America (30%).
The Goldman Sachs West Street Infrastructure Partners Fund IV fund focuses on investments with a part of existing or near-term developable projects. Often with the potential to increase returns through significant investments or add-on acquisitions.
The fund favours companies operating within Europe (40%) and North America (60%).
